Explore Kenilworth Town

Make the most of your day at Thai Nee Spa by taking some time to explore the market town of Kenilworth. The town has a magnificent medieval castle and abbey, miles of unspoiled walking trails, a new shopping centre and some top notch pubs.

Nestled in the heart of green and pleasant Warwickshire, Kenilworth is located 5 miles north of Warwick and 90 miles north-west of London.

Unique Attractions

Kenilworth Castle Garden

Kenilworth Castle

The castle has played an important role in English history. It was the subject of the six-month-long Siege of Kenilworth in 1266 and formed a base for Lancastrian operations in the Wars of the Roses. The beautifully recreated Elizabethan Garden is a haven of peace and tranquillity.

Kenilworth Abbey Fields

Abbey Fields Park

Abbey Fields is a 68-acre park to be found in the centre of Kenilworth. The park was once farmland belonging to The Abbey of St Mary the Virgin, which was dissolved in the mid-sixteenth century. Ruins of the Abbey archway still remain as well as the 12th century St Nicholas Church. The land is now a spacious park with a lake, stream, The Barn Museum and an area for children to play.

The Cross At Kenilworth

The Cross

The front bar of this charming 19C, Grade II listed inn makes a cosy place for a beer, while the pretty, foliage-enclosed rear terrace is great for dinner and drinks on a warm day. From the Michelin Guide.

Expect a warm welcome, friendly service and stunning dishes, cooked using the very best local ingredients by award-winning chefs.
